Our team is pretty familiar with Carhartt and they do produce some of our "weapons of choice" but even so we wanted to do an official review of one of their most popular pair of worker pants. I personally have been wearing a pair of Carhartt for over four years on my daily works, and I have been pretty happy with them, altough the Wrangler Ranger Pants pretty much blew me over and made me want to get those as my basica pair. Even though this review isn't about them.
When we got these pants we were quite happy with the material althouhg it isn't as sturdy as it is supposed to be. These aren't relaly too hardcore because they might break if you use them on a regular construction pant - they haven't been made for this. If you are looking for something to replace your jeans, then this is perfect for you as they do look a bit more professional, and if you are spending most of your day inside the office you might want just that. If you are outside eight hours of the day I suggest you get something heavier.
Even though we felt like the material was too lightweight to manage our heavy testing surroundings, we were quite surprised by the quality that Carhartt have been able to deliver with the fabric. It wasn't notably worn out after we had been wearing it for the week in heavy surroundings. They are also great to wear in the summer because they are quite lightweight and you are less likely to get overly hot with these.
These are great pants and I can't argue that they are exactly what a lot of people are looking for. The thing is that they aren't the most durable, and the most comfortable ones out there, and that is why we have to give them 3/5. Also keep in mind that they don't come with extra large pockets and aren't what I would call tactical pants.
